Study week get away
Hello peeps!
I am back! So, we are now having study week. As you know before final came we will be given 1 week to study but usually we will treat this one week as holiday and celebrate the end of our assignment submission. My friend decided to bring me go out again. We actually planned to go Crocodile Farm but unfortunately there are some reason we didn't manage to make it.
So, as I promised you guys earlier I will bring you guys go Damai Beach, Santubong, Sarawak. If there is a chance I might as well bring you guys go hiking at Santubong. I always wanted to challenge the mountain there before challenge Mount Kinabalu in Sabah which I have been living there for 20 years and I didn't manage to go.
Let's get started. So, first station we went to Fu Lok Noodle House to have our lunch. Basically, my friends are the one who bring me here and there and I just follow them. They told me that, they found this cafe in one of Facebook page. Also, because it's pork. We are damn craving for pork like seriously since we enter university.
Fu Lok Noodle House was located in Tabuan Jaya, opposite Mcd and KFC building. It's quite near our campus but of course we need to drive. You can't walk there.
You will see this, outside the shop. At first, I did not expect much the 卤肉饭can be nice because Sarawak food did not really impress me as their food taste doesn't suit me. It's cheap ofcourse but it's not that nice for me.
AFTER WE WENT INTO THIS CAFE....
OH MAI GHOSH! Their signature dish *I called it myself*, 卤肉饭 (Mix pork Rice) and 卤肉面 (Mix pork Noodle) SO NICE. IT WAS SO NICE, NICE, NICE. I mentioned it three times because it was very nice. The rice is so warm and soft, their meat is DAEBAK!. I ordered rice while my friend ordered the noodle. Both are really nice. What makes it special is the SAUCE they use. Home feeling *Crying*
I tried their Teh C Special, which is the signature Teh you can drink in Sarawak. It's nice, the green layer is Pandan. Really nice lerh. I cannot! *I am literally screaming right now* It's too nice.
I highly recommended you guys to try it out. It's really nice.
The rice worth RM7.00 while the Teh C Special worth RM3.00. It's quite cheap and worth with such delicious dish.
Next station, Viva City Mall's Rock N Roll.
Nothing special, is just we went to sing Karaoke. The place is nice and is quite cheap actually
Student price : RM12
Normal afternoon price : RM13
with Free 2 drinks each person.
They actually have many OOTD background. It's really nice. The environment there is really comfortable. Owh, by the way, usually if we sing karaoke they gave us maximum 3 hours *at least that's what my hometown did* but this Rock N Roll, for example their afternoon season was from 11am-6pm so you basically can sing from 11am-6pm depends on the time you came. Just sing whatever you can in between this period.
The songs in this Karaoke is really up to date too. So, do not worry that their song list. Also, their service is very good. Before we enter our room the drinks and microphone are all well prepared. *THUMBS UP*
We actually can't stop singing eventhough it's already 5pm and we already sang for 4 hours OMGHOSH. My friends who came from Peninsular Malaysia always enjoy the sunset in Borneo because we have awesome sunset here. They wanted to catch the sunset in Damai Beach. My friend actually used only 30-40minutes to go Damai Beach. Usually we need 1 hour to reach there because it's quite a distance from town. In order to catch the sunset, she speed.
And this happen...
As I promised you all, I will bring you guys come. Here you go..
Damai Beach is located at Santubong, Sarawak. I went to their resort before, it was quite nice and comfortable but I didn't stay overnight there. You can consider staying here as they got Sarawak Cultural Village nearby, maybe you guy can visit there.
Ps : It's really far from town. It's hard if you do not have transportation.
As for dinner, we went to Sharing Planet
There were actually 2 shop in Kuching which is Stapok and Downtown, but we usually go to the Downtown one because only there we know. HAHAHAHA... The food is quite nice and the price is reasonable also. Sometimes, western food makes people worry because of the price and the food but don't worry. This place is nice, not until t he AWESOME level but it is nice.
I ordered the Butter Fish and Chip. It was salty I don't know why but the butter is serious nice.
It worth RM16.00 only OMGHOSH. This was like Sarawak version's Upperstar.

| There are many kind of food you can order too if you do not feel like eating the Mix Pork Rice. My another friend ordered their Kolok Mee+Wantan is quite nice also. |

They actually got this mixed grill. It's nice and worth only RM30++ with beef, without beef worth RM20++. This mixed grill included chicken, lamb, fish and hotdog *BIG HOTDOG*. This picture was actually taken last year. I went there once last year with my form 6 mates. It's nice. That's what makes Sharing Planet special. Nice food and cheap.
Not to forgot their spaghetti is nice too. I'm sorry did not manage to take a picture of it because the last time I tried their spaghetti was last year and I didn't manage to order it on Monday. *Excuses*

Fu Lok Noodle House I AM HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU GUYS GO AND TRY THAT MIX PORK RICE OMGHOSH IT WAS SO NICE UNTIL I NEED TO CAPSLOCK ALL MY WORDS. For rating 4 stars.
Rock N Roll Karaoke. It's worth and for people who love to sing, this is NICE AND WORTH
Damai Beach is a beautiful place. I still prefer Lundu's Pandan Beach but is still a beautiful place. What I wanted to challenge was the Santubong mountain. I promise to bring you guys there one day.
Sharing Planet . For people who love western food you can try Sharing Planet. Reasonable price and Nice food. For rating I will give 3 stars.
